Best iPhone SMS Forwarder for Discord, Compared

By Fwrd ·

The best iPhone SMS forwarder for Discord posts each text straight from your iPhone to a channel webhook, keeps that webhook out of plain sight, and lets you choose which texts go. Fwrd does all three with no account and no Fwrd server, and its free plan includes Discord for 15 forwards a month. It needs iOS 26 or later, so if your iPhone runs an older version, the table below shows which apps run on it.

What you need: an iPhone, a Discord server where you can create webhooks, and a rule for which texts to forward, such as ones that contain the word code.

What matters when the destination is Discord

Every app above works the same way underneath: a Message automation in Apple’s Shortcuts app hands each new text to the app’s action, and the action posts it to Discord. So the differences are in how each one handles the Discord side.

  • Webhook or bot. A channel webhook posts into one channel and needs nothing else. Posting to a direct message needs a Discord bot, so an app that offers DMs sends through a bot account. Check whose bot it is before forwarding codes.
  • Where the webhook URL lives. Anyone with the URL can post to your channel. An app that keeps it in the iPhone’s Keychain is safer than a shortcut that holds it in plain text.
  • Which texts go. A filter on the Discord destination, such as texts that look like a verification code, keeps the channel clean even when the automation catches every text.
  • What happens when Discord is busy. A retry, and a history on the phone that shows whether each text was delivered, tell you where a missing text went.

Why I’d pick Fwrd for Discord

I make Fwrd, so here’s my case, and each point is on its App Store page:

  • Straight from your iPhone to your webhook. No account, no Fwrd server and no Fwrd bot in between. The webhook URL stays in the iPhone’s Keychain.
  • A filter on the Discord destination, by words, verification codes or hours, so a channel for codes gets only codes.
  • It tries again if Discord is busy or slow, up to twice, and Activity in Fwrd lists every forward and whether it was delivered.
  • One text counts once. A text that goes to Discord, Slack and your email uses one of your 15 free forwards.
  • Who sent it, if you want it. Turn on Include Who Sent It and each post starts with a From: line.

How to forward iPhone texts to Discord with Fwrd

  1. Create a channel webhook on a computer: Server Settings, then Integrations, then Create Webhook. Pick the channel and copy the URL.
  2. Add Discord in Fwrd. Tap +, choose Discord, paste the URL and tap Send Test Message.
  3. Create a Message automation in Shortcuts and set Message Contains to a word your texts include, such as code.
  4. Let it run without asking. Turn off Confirm Before Run on iOS 27, or choose Run Immediately on iOS 26.
  5. Add Fwrd’s action, Forward Message to All Destinations, with Message set to Shortcut Input.

The step-by-step Discord post has pictures of each screen, and the Discord setup guide has a video.

What forwarding to Discord can’t do

  • No app can read your texts on its own. iPhone gives apps no access to your messages, so each one needs the Shortcuts automation you set up.
  • It can’t forward texts you already have, only new ones that arrive after the automation is on.
  • It can’t work while the iPhone is off or offline, because the iPhone itself sends each text. After a restart, Fwrd waits until you unlock the phone once.
  • Fwrd forwards the words, not pictures, and you can’t reply from Discord. Forwarding goes one way.
